Fantastic news from Anne Speake reporting on last weekends very successful “Midland Borderfest”

This is such good news and we in BTW thank you all for this substantial donation and for your very generous support.

It is sad to say that there is no letup in the number of dogs needing our help and many of them requiring a great deal of work before they can be rehomed. It is these dogs that run away with the money and it is only due to the help that we have from all of our supporters that makes this possible.

A very big thank you to all that have bought tickets either on line or on the day, people who bought things from the stalls or just donated this year at the Midland Borderfest.
I have great pleasure in letting you all know that we have raised the most we have ever done at the event. We also had the added bonus thanks to Julie Cox of her bank Barclays saying they would match us up to the maximum they give of a £1000. Which has made our grand total for this years event to
******************************£4.201.00 ************************************
*********************************************************************************
Breakdown of money raised
£1.261.07 on the day raffle/auction/bar-b-cue/stalls
£1.324.43 Pay pal
£ 140,50 Mug Auction
£ 315.00 cheques
£ 100.00 Julie Cully sold the remaining bags
£ 60.00 Lisa Gibbs
£1.000. donation from Barclays bank
Well done to everyone involved, buying, and donating, helping at the event. This money will help a lot towards helping less fortunate borders that are in welfare until they find there forever homes.
A big thank you to you all
Anne xx
