Many of you will remember the story of Archie the Border Terrier who had been stolen and was discovered by Border Terrier Welfare when we were asked to re home him almost 5 years later. “The Power of the Chip”.
Unfortunately Archie is in the news again as he has been unlucky enough to get kicked by a horse. He has been seriously injured and has undergone surgery to repair multiple fractures to his leg and other injuries. Thankfully he is back home and is expected to make a full recovery.
Sadly Archie’s family couldn’t get him re insured due to the lack of any medical history during the period that he was missing. In consequence they are facing financial difficulty with costs expected to be close to £6000.
A Just Giving page has been set up for Archie and if anyone felt able to make a donation no matter how small we know that it would me very much appreciated. I will add that Archie’s owners have undertaken to donate any surplus to BTW should the fund raise more than the amount required to settle the final bill.
Thank you

Thanks so much to all of you who have donated so far. There have been a number of requests to donate via PAY PAL. This is fine if you go to our website www.borderterrierwelfare.co.uk you will see a DONATE button (If you are using a SMART PHONE you may need to turn your phone to the horizontal or landscape position. This will link you with BTW’s PayPal Account and you can make a donation here.  Please enter “HELPING ARCHIE” in the information / description box. Thanks again for your help
