As it's World Book Day today, we've got something special to share with you! We have several sets of these beautiful books for children, written by Victoria Howarth. She has kindly donated them to Border Terrier Welfare in memory of her lovely Border Henry, the subject of the books, to help with our fundraising.
My Little Henry
The five beautifully illustrated true stories about Henry's adventures are now out of print, so these are quite collectable. Normally £4.99 each, they are available as a set of five books at the discounted price of £15 with free postage and packing.
We are thrilled that Victoria has made these available to us, with 100% of proceeds going to BTW which is a lovely way to celebrate World Book Day! As Henry is no longer with Victoria, what a lovely legacy in his name that these books will be fundraising to help other Border Terriers in need through us.
The five books in the series are:
- Introducing Henry and his new mummy
- Henry's first great adventure
- Henry's second big adventure
- A disaster for Henry's mummy
- Henry's adventures with donkey
We do also have a number of individual copies of books 1, 2 and 5 available separately at £3 per copy if you are looking for these to make up your set.
With lovely illustrations by Mary Lauritzen, these delightful books are not to be missed!
