In what has been an extremely challenging time for all of us, we have been unable to meet in person this year at our BTW events. We are pleased to announce that we will however, be holding a virtual Annual General Meeting.
Announcing a virtual event
Our AGM will take place on zoom at 2.30pm on Sunday 8 November 2020. Our main presentation after the AGM will be from John & Vanessa Jessop on Fostering Border Terriers. Read on for more details of how you can attend, along with entering our fun BTW Scavenger Hunt photo competition.

2.20pm a BTW Calendar preview
We'll be opening our zoom event at 2.20pm to give you a chance to settle in and familiarise yourself with the tech - it is new to many, whilst some will be practiced zoomers!
While that's happening, we'll show our preview slideshow, Border Bonanza, with some of the pictures submitted for the 2021 BTW Calendar . . . because we couldn't think of a better way of opening the event than looking at our favourite thing, Border Terriers!
2.30pm AGM commences
Chairman Tony Wrenn will open the AGM with a welcome to everyone.
We will review our Accounts to 30 June 2020 and Officer Reports, with a mid year update to date
Accounts and Trustee details can be viewed on the Charities Commission website here. Reports will be made available to registered attendees before the meeting.
This will be followed by election of the Committee.

3pm BTW Scavenger Hunt photo competition winners announced
The AGM will be followed by the announcement of the winners of our BTW Scavenger Hunt photo competition. Find out more on our competition page and make sure you get your entries in to be in with a chance to win one of our prizes!
3.10pm Fostering Border Terriers with John & Vanessa Jessop
Our main presentation for the afternoon will be a short talk on their work fostering Border Terriers for BTW, sharing their experience of gaining the trust of Borders who have come from often difficult circumstances and introducing them into their family home. This will be followed by a chance to put your questions to John & Vanessa and the wider BTW panel to share their knowledge and insights on Border Terriers and the work of BTW.
3.30pm Event close
Whilst attendance at this virtual event is free, we are missing our usual opportunity to do some fundraising.
