We'd like to introduce you to Roxy who is a 5 year old Border Terrier bitch and she is coming into Border Terrier Welfare because of a change in her current owner’s circumstances.
To add to her problems Roxy is almost completely blind having only very limited peripheral vision in one eye and none in the other due to her having cataracts in both eyes. She has been referred to an ophthalmic specialist and they are satisfied that her vision can be restored and it is our plan that she will undergo surgery at the earliest opportunity.
The cost of the operation, somewhere in the order of £2600 is being met by BTW and if anyone felt able to help with the cost your contribution would be very much appreciated. Donations can be made by any of the methods listed below. Please mark any donation for “ROXY’S FUND”.
Also under consideration is Roxy’s future life and we are looking at options both long and short term.
