Long Walk Home is complete - a photodiary

In the last 14 days they have crossed the country From St Bees Head to Robin Hood’s Bay, 195 miles in just 14 Days raising funds for Border Terrier Welfare. So far the team have raised more than £5,500 plus Gift Aid meaning that this challenge will have raised close to £7,000, perhaps more, donations are continuing to come in. This is an amazing result and a very welcome and much appreciated contribution to our charity.

Huge thanks to Paul and Jess

Our thanks to Paul for organising the challenge, to Ian for his support and of course to Jess for being the inspiration for this and previous challenges which have raised so much support for Border Terrier Welfare over a number of years.

Our thanks also to all those who have contributed, without the donations made by you all these challenges would not be the success that they are.

An amazing story

As many of you already know this huge success is even more remarkable when we remember that only 12 months ago Paul had been forced to withdraw from his previous attempt due to his not feeling very well?  Nothing serious, seemingly he had had a heart attack and subsequently underwent a Quadruple Heart Bypass. I think we also owe a vote of thanks to Paul’s heart surgeon.

A huge well done everyone, you are all “Pawsome”
