The cost of re homing

Thanks to the generous donations and fundraising efforts we receive from our dedicated supporters, Border Terrier Welfare has been able to provide crucial assistance to both the dogs in our care and the families who adopt them. These contributions play a vital role in enabling us to continue our work, ensuring that we can meet the needs of our beloved Border Terriers and enhance their quality of life.

During the 24/25 year, our veterinary bills amounted to £65,000, accounting for roughly 300 expenses.

Only six weeks into our new financial year 2025, we have already paid or are obligated to pay £14,000 in veterinary expenses, with about 40 bills either settled or pending payment.

 This 12 year old lad will receive dental work and have a lump removed as part of his re homing journey .
